Idents and Sonic Branding is a field that really interests me as a Sound Designer.

An ident is a video identification of a brand logo and usually lasts about 10-20 secs. It is normally animated with motion graphics, creating a target which carries out different elements to specific audiences. Sonic Branding is the audio form of branding a logo identity, Layering and Sculpting sounds to extend your visual communication with an audio identity. According to Wikipedia, “sound branding (also known as audio branding, music branding, sonic branding, acoustic branding or sonic mnemonics) is the use of sound to reinforce brand identity.

This is was an exercise, creating a custom sound ident for Naughty Dogs Uncharted 2 Game.
